I was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL. I have always loved Art. In high school I was part of the Gold Key Club, a special program for gifted young artists. We had an Art Exhibit/Contest for the Gold Key Award and my abstract still life piece won First Place. With that award under my belt and encouragement from my teachers, I applied for a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago, and I won the scholarship. I attended the Art Institute of Chicago for one year and then decided to start my family. I am very passionate about expressing yourself through whatever medium you choose. As well as whatever style you choose. Your creation is all your own and if somoene else doesn't get it, that's ok. I do not believe that you have to be able to draw to create art...only willing to express yourself honestly and with all your heart. I am currently working with and teaching home school teens and youth Art in my home every week. I love to watch them bloom and grow. On several occassions I have taught some adults painting and other creative outlets. I truly believe that my passion for Art and to help others find their creative side is a gift, directly from God. I do all that I do to glorify Him!
