Mary is a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and became ana artist at age 5. She remembers coloring in kindergarten, and making clay pots out of dirt in her front yard with her best friend; letting it dry, and painting it with cheap 29 cent watercolor paints from Sprouse Reitz. (if you remeber that, you have been around awhile). Her artist within kept hidden until her mid-thirties. Her husband and best friend died suddenly, and amidst the grief, a friend suggested painting lessons. Well, that turned out to be wonderful advise. She enrolled in painting classes and progressed in her healing.
Mary is happily re-married,teaches music in a Phoenix public school, and performs regularly at her church and professionally around the valley.
Each painting is unique and has its own story. She hopes you enjoy her work, and would be happy to share with you the story on each painting.
